The Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA) advocates for the renewable energy sector in Ontario, helping to develop electrical power generation projects with communities at the helm, rather than major corporations. OSEA is organizing its 2nd Community Power conference in November (15-16), in Toronto and we are partnering with like-minded organizations to promote the growth of renewable and sustainable energy in Ontario and across Canada. The advent of Ontario's Green Energy Act (GEA) in 2009 was groundbreaking legislation in Canada, enabling smaller power generators to get involved in the electrical power generation sector, on a level playing field.
Here is a link to the Community Power website - www.cpconference.ca - which has plenty of information about the conference.
